Frequently asked questions
The DEFA Shore Power Cable has an ingress protection rating of IP67, which means it is protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter. This protection is crucial to ensure that the cable functions optimally in marine environments where it may be exposed to weather factors and water damage.
The rubber-coated silicone protects the cable by being flexible and resistant to wear, which prevents damage to both the cable and the boat's surface. This feature is important because it extends the cable's lifespan and reduces the risk of damaging the boat during use.
The DEFA Shore Power Cable is designed for easy connection with the DEFA plugin system, which makes it convenient to connect the cable to your boat. It is important to ensure that the plugs are correctly connected to achieve a stable and safe power supply. ---
